Capital Church was transitioning to new leadership after nearly 40 years and was in need of a major brand overhaul. During my role as their Creative Director, I led the church into a new brand from conception to execution. Not having a team allowed me to work as a graphic designer, copywriter, video producer, and social media content creator/manager. Some of the responsibilities were: 

  • Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines, and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completion

  • Collaborate with pastors and executive director to obtain the goal of several projects 

  • Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas

  • Write and design unique and well-crafted copy content that met the needs of the church to be relevant to the community and leadership with the church

  • Revise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, seek and provide feedback to and from senior leadership

  • Train and guide volunteers and staff on email automation, social media management, and web content

  • Monitor results of efforts and propose actions for the future
